Mamaroneck is also located only minutes from White Plains, with its extraordinary shopping at the Westchester Mall (Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, Tiffany's), Macy's at The Galleria and Bloomingdales. 

SCHOOLS

The Mamaroneck School district consists of four neighborhood elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Students come from the Village of Larchmont, the Village of Mamaroneck and the Town of Mamaroneck. Parkview Station is also conveniently located near the French-American School of New York.

Parkview Station is in close proximity to a number of world class gyms, including New York Sports Club and Equinox Fitness.

THE HISTORY OF MAMARONECK

The Village of Mamaroneck was incorporated in 1895. Today the Village is primarily a residential community on Long Island Sound with a major inland harbor and facilities to build and service pleasure boating.

The enclosed harbor with its beautiful park is a treasure to the community and used by residents to participate in sports or relax and enjoy the view of the harbor and its surroundings. In early May when over 150 Japanese cherry trees are in bloom, the harbor park is at its finest.
